My cousin Ashton and I were guests at this years ARC Fashion Show. (You will probably be hearing a lot about my cousin Ashton, she is my sidekick! LOL.) It was snowing all night. It made a normal drive there go from one hour to three.I was actually a model for this as well. I guess every year a guy named Chris walks with the Miss Michigan's, and this year I carried on that tradition. He encouraged me not to be nervous, and his positivity helped me not to be. There I met a lot of prominent people. The organization is to serve those with development disabilities. This cause hit home because in junior high and high school I was always surrounded with people who had development disabilities. A lot of them were my friends and I loved talking to them because it is almost like they do not see any bad in the world. They are always happy and I admire that because I would do anything to be like that. This has probably been one of the funnest events yet! I hope I can attend it again next year!
