On Wed. September 19, 2009 I went to attend the Sister's Hope Pretty N' Pink Breast Cancer Fashion Show. A good friend of mine, Mandy, called me and asked me if I would model for the event; it was such a great cause that I went and missed school for it. The lady I met there, Mary Wood, was so welcoming and so enthusiastic about the entire event. When you are around people like that, you can't help but to want to be the same way in return. The whole morning and afternoon was just relaxing and fulfilling. The lady who the whole organization was made for has passed away from a battle with breast cancer; I met her daughter who is so insightful. She gave a speech which brought tears rolling down my cheeks; I could not help myself. She really is a strong girl. With that, I am posting their website for everyone to visit. I do think it has potential to be very big and could work wonders!
